With a form all its own, Hans J. Wegner's iconic CH24 Wishbone chair holds a special place in the world of modern design.

In designing the CH24, Wegner chose to combine the backrest and armrest in one piece. To give stability to the steam-curved top and ensure comfortable support, Wegner developed the distinctive Y-shaped backrest that gives the Wishbone Chair its name.

Making each Wishbone Chair requires more than 100 steps, most of them by hand. The hand-woven seat alone requires an hour of work by a skilled craftsman using approximately 120 meters of paper cord, whose impressive durability and stability make the chair strong and long-lasting.

The Wishbone chair offers comfort and stability, as well as satisfying aesthetic desires in a distinctive and elegant manner.Over time, the Wishbone chair has earned recognition as the ideal chair, capturing the essence of modern Danish design.

You can find the Whisbone chair with lacquered wood, soap and oil, with black or natural rope.
